Crystal joined the Taylor lab in July of 2004. She was a undergrad in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology and helped Teresa Pawlowska with her Glomus project. Once Teresa left for Cornell, Crystal worked with Liz Turner on her Neurospora project.
Crystal's last words in the Taylor lab before leaving in December of 2004 were "I've looked at a lot of spores".
