Introduction
|
On October 5 1995, a fire broke out on the slopes
of Mount Vision in the Point Reyes National Seashore.
Before the fire was brought under control a week later,
11,100 acres were burned, including all of the plots
that had been a focus of research for the Bruns lab
for the previous 5 years.
