Remi Cohen

Remi joined the Bruns Lab in June of 1997. She worked on a population genetics study of Rhizopogon ellenae. While in the lab Remi learned all about DNA extractions, PCR amplification, RAPDs and SSCP.

Remi received her B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology in May of 1998. In July of 1998, Remi started working for DNA Plant Technologies in Oakland, maintaining their fungal Botrychium cultures. She studied post harvest disease in Strawberries.

In September of 1999 Remi began the UC Davis program in Environmental Horticulture with an emphasis in viticulture and received her master's degree in 2001.

Currently Remi is working as a winegrower at Merryvale Vineyards in Napa.
