Kabir Peay

Kabir completed his dissertation in December of 2008 with Prof. Matteo Garbelotto in UC Berkeley’s Deptartment of Environmental Science, Policy and Management, and is now a post-doc in the Bruns lab. His dissertation and post-doctoral research are focused on the ecological controls of diversity and community structure of ectomycorrhizal fungi in forest ecosystems. In particular he is interested in the role of dispersal and habitat size in determining the assembly of fungal communities across the landscape.
